Internship Opening

Arkansas Association for Colleges and Employers (AACE) Intern Position: Apply before May 25th

Intern will be responsible for raising awareness of AACE services and events through the development of creative strategies. Intern will oversee increasing the number of followers on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram. The Intern also will develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the AACE. Intern will assist in the restructuring and updating of the AACE webpage.

Hours flexible based on intern’s and mentor’s schedules

Maximum of 10hrs per week.

Stipend pay rate - $300 monthly

Will receive monthly performance reviews from professional mentor


Specific responsibilities include:


Conferences

      Set up and sign in conference attendees at sign in tables

      Document meetings and actions

      Send notification and confirmation emails

      Respond to emails and social media messages within 24-72 business hours

      Print name badges

Public Relations

      Develop creative strategies to raise awareness of AACE

      Create small promotional videos for AACE conferences and benefits

      Spread awareness through cold calling and marketing advertising

Social Media

      Manage all social media accounts (LinkedIn)

      Increase social media presence across Human Resource and Higher Education platforms

      Develop creative social media campaigns to advertise services/events

      Photograph events for use on social media and create social media accounts on (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)

      Assist with all conferences

Web Design (utilizes Wild Apricot)

      Reduce click-through on AACE website

      Update and maintain upcoming events page and AACE Calendar of Events

      Develop a more user-friendly platform for students, staff and employers to navigate

      Adhere to the copyright guidelines

Minimum Qualifications 


Basic knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter for marketing purposes

Experience with planning and implementing programs

Proficient in Microsoft Word

Familiar in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong organizational skills
